  • Do you pick up & deliver?
    No, but we can recommend a reliable delivery service.
  • What areas do you service?
    We are based in Burleigh Heads and provide powder coating services across the Gold Coast
  • How long does powder coating take?
    Most aluminium jobs are completed within approximately 1 week. Sandblasted products take approximately 2 weeks
  • Can I get a quote before bringing my item in?
    Yes! You can send us a photo & dimensions via email, or visit our office and meet our friendly staff who will assist you.

Powder Coating & Colour Matching

  • Can you match a paint colour?
    Always choose your powder colour first—wet paint can be matched to powder, but not the other way around. We offer Colorbond colours, and custom powder colours can be made, though they are typically not cost-effective for small jobs.
  • What types of finishes do you offer?
    We offer a wide range of finishes, including:
    - Gloss, Matte, Satin
    - Textured & Specialty Coatings (e.g., hammered, metallic, ripple effects)
    - High-durability & UV-resistant coatings
  • Can you powder coat over powder coat?
    Yes, as long as the item is in good condition, no or little corrosion and not peeling and flaky. There are no guarantees on the finish as we don’t know what is underneath.
  • Can you powder coat over paint?
    No, painted surfaces must be chemically stripped or sandblasted first. We offer sandblasting only and chemical stripping must be done beforehand.

Sandblasting & Pre-Treatment

  • Do you offer sandblasting services?
    Yes, we provide sandblasting & burning services to remove old coatings, rust, and contaminants before powder coating.
  • Why is pre-treatment important?
    Pre-treatment is essential for maximum adhesion and corrosion protection. Aluminium surfaces require chromating, an anti-corrosion treatment applied before powder coating.

Restoration & Repairs

  • Can you restore old or rusted metal?
    Yes! We offer restoration services, including sandblasting, priming, and powder coating to bring old or worn metal items back to life.
  • What items can you restore?
    We restore almost anything metal:
    - Car & motorbike parts (rims, frames)
    - Outdoor furniture & gates
    - Industrial & architectural metalwork

Touch-Up Paint & Aftercare

  • Do you have touch-up paint?
    Yes! We stock CRL Colorbond® Professional Touch-Up Paint, formulated to match most powder coat finishes. Available in aerosol tins for easy application.
  • How do I maintain my powder-coated surface?
    Regular cleaning with mild soapy water every 3–6 months helps prevent dirt buildup and extends the life of the finish. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbing.
